Imagine the dedication that has sustained the Library for 45 years!
Through the years, there have been hundreds of Volunteers who have given
of their time and expertise enabling the Library to fulfill its mission to
the community. What leads a person to want to Volunteer at the Library?
Some of the reasons that our current Volunteers give are:
- it puts them in touch with like-minded people
- they have benefitted from using the Library and attending classes and want to give back
- the availability of unique books and information
- the sense of community they feel and enjoy
- they appreciate the non-judgmental attitude, the space to find your own way
- their belief in the unlimited potential of the human being and the openness they find here
Because all of the operations of the Library are done by Volunteers, there are a
variety of ways that one can support the Library through volunteering. If you
have some time available, please check out this list and see where you fit.
